About the QRDA

The Queensland Racing Drivers Association Inc. is a club for anyone who loves motorsport!!  Our members come from all parts of the sport, whether they are Competitors at State, National, or International levels, Officials, Crew Members or simply Enthusiasts.

The QRDA was established in 1971, and apart from hosting race meetings and social gatherings, we also conduct our own Club Championship for all CAMS State Level categories.  Each year, all our Champions are honoured at our Christmas Party and Trophy Presentation evening, held recently at the Kedron Wavell Services Club on December 16th.  Apart from Club Championships for all categories, we also have a selection of other awards including Overall Club Champion, Rookie of the Year, President’s Trophy and the Bill Campbell Memorial Shield.  We also take great pride in our Annual Christmas Party Raffle which this year raised over $5500.00 for our nominated Charity, the Childrens Health Foundation (formerly the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal).

Membership for the calendar year costs only $60.00 for Competing Members (Eligible for Club Championship Point Score and end of season Trophies) or $30.00 for Associate Members, with no joining fees applicable.  Members receive a Membership Card, stickers and a wide range of discounts, from Entry Fee discounts at our race meetings to trade discounts at Motorsport Suppliers.

Our membership includes a wide variety of competitors ranging from V8 Supercar drivers through to National Series Champions and State and Club Championship competitors.  The QRDA conducts Club Championships for CAMS State Championship categories including Sports Sedan, Improved Production U2L and O2L, Saloon Cars, Gemini, Hyundai Series X3, HQ Holden, Group N, Sports & Production Sports Cars, Formula Ford, Racing Cars and Superkarts.  As you can see in the attached 2017 Pointscore, a high percentage of State Championship competitors are QRDA members, as well as many experienced Race Officials.  The Club is led by a strong Committee who pride themselves on being a club with influence with a prominent Motor Racing and Speed Event Advisory Panel and CAMS State Council presence.

The QRDA meets on the Third Wednesday of Every Month (7.30pm) at the CAMS State Office at Milton, or other venues to be advised for a combination meeting/social night.  Even if you are not a member, come along and enjoy the company of your fellow enthusiasts and watch a video.  The QRDA is a club of motor racing enthusiasts like yourselves, not just drivers, and we do our best to make the sport that we enjoy so much flourish and prosper.  So do yourself a favour and become a part of the best motor sporting club in this state, the Queensland Racing Drivers Association.
